A while ago Scientific American Magazine commissioned me to photograph the theoretical particle physicist and cosmologist, Dr. Alan Guth. He’s the “father” of the inflationary theory of the Universe, an alteration of the big bang theory.
Not knowing exactly what any of this means, I decided to photograph him in an environment that implies particle physics, without hitting you on the head with it.
