For almost a decade I photographed executives taking Outward Bound adventures at Hurricane Island in Maine. Some were several days and nights on a boat with no facilities. Weather didn’t stop us. Here is a photo shot at about 6 am showing how one would bathe. Notice the Outward Bound instructor in the coat and hat on the far right:
And here is what the sailboat boat is like in a full storm in the Atlantic. There is no “downstairs” or shelter. This was the summer, despite the wool caps.
