Wine Spectator Cover – Photo of Dr. R. Curtis Ellison

This is a cover photo by Boston Photographer Stanley Rowin, of R. Curtis Ellison, MD for Wine Spectator Magazine. Dr. Ellison is a senior investigator for The Framingham Heart Study.  He was photographed because of his research on the “French Paradox,” which refers to the fact that the French have a high-fat diet and other risk factors, yet have very low rates of coronary heart disease, possibly because of their consumption of wine. He was photographed in his office.
